Welcome Truman Lawrence Goldberg!

A young Luke and Dean welcome the newest cousin. This post is also reminder that they/we were all small and we all get bigger. Based on 99% of the blog posts, it doesn't mean we grow up though..

Today, life is different , conversation with kids is…well just different.

Dad can I borrow $3?
Why?
To buy sports cards.

Dad I have Kobe Bryant!
Yes Luke, you do.
Kobe didn’t go to college, why do have too?
Because hustling, playing good defense, and maxing out at 5 10 won’t cut it.

Dad I have Magic Johnson!
Yes Dean
Magic? Can we have him at my next birthday?
No, but we can visit one of his movie theatres

Dad I was reading on TMZ and it said Kobe had some sexual allegations a while back. What does that mean?
Luke it means your mom now needs to lock her computer so you don’t read about this stuff.

Rules allow 10 kids on the field at a time. As you can see eight players chasing the ball at the same time, welcome to coaching 5-6 year olds!

Coach Goldberg’s words of wisdom. “Half this game is ninety percent mental"

Luke said ” Left foot, right foot, it doesn't matter. I'm amphibious." And that is why he was in goal..
